everspring AN145 keeps flickering

Hi,

GOt a couple of everspring an145 modules. When purchased and paired with vera all worked fine. But after a few months they keep flickeing (on/off) after I run the scene ‘lights on’.

I returend 2 already, but I’m wondering if I can do anything about this? Anybody else had the same problem?

Answers are much appreciated!

Cheers.

I had 8 of these, they all started flickering within 1 year.

I threw the hardware out of its casing and replaced it with Fibaro switches…these fit inside the AN145 case nicely…

Ah, so it isn’t just me. These things are just faulty by design. You use the 2,15kw or 1x3kw sitches from fibaro?

Using the 2 x 1.5Kw version works but would be wasting 1 1.5Kw channel…

The dimmer works though…

Having a push button to switch the fibaro manually works as well but the tricky part is the find a switch that is shallow enough too fit…

Mine is still under warranty… I might just return it for now.

But, keep you posted if I insert the fibaro switch… Quite curious myself about this tho.

Cheers

This seems to be quite a common problem, I believe I’ve had about 5 replaced out of 10 of them. The others have been fine and there does not seem to be a relation to the loads they are controlling either. As long as you can send them back and get a replacement you should be ok, I realise that is a pain but at least you are not loosing out. There is clearly some sort of fault that kicks in with them randomly at some point in their life.
