EventWatcher - trying to un install

Hi, I’m trying to remove a device I have called Watcher so I can do a clean install of EventWatcher. I try deleting it, Vera says it is removing it but it never goes away.

This old version keeps putting out messages like

It was a while ago but I think I originally installed Watcher manually.

When I install Eventwatcher from the app store, it works just fine but I’m still left with these log entries that I can’t seem to get rid of. It’s as I have 2 versions of the Eventwatcher working.

Can anyone throw some light on what’s happening here and on how best to proceed?

DataWatcher is part of DataYours, and nothing to with EventWatcher. There are many ways to start DataWatcher:

[ol][li]create device manually[/li]
[li]run it from startup (no device visible at all)[/li]
[li]start it from DataYours (it becomes a child device)[/li][/ol]

So depending on what you did, you undo it the same way. It is a relatively new innovation for DataWatcher to do energy metering, so it can’t be so long ago that this was set up.

I don’t understand the need to re-install EventWatcher.
