Error log

I’m not sure if this is in the right place to ask but recently I have been seeing the following
in my logs screen.

2014-02-10_02:43:01 CHECKDISK: Starting to check device: /dev/sda1 with: /usr/sbin/e2fsck
2014-02-10_02:43:04 (/dev/sda1) : Successfully checked

I don’t remember seeing this before but maybe it was.

Is it anything to be concerned with?

It is about this time that I turn power off for 10 minutes every night in order for vera to do a restart. I cannot afford to have her lock-up since we are 2000 miles away.

Maybe this isn’t such a good idea.

If anyone knows if there is a better way, please let me know.

This is normal … you probably have a USB stick to store logs.
Vera checks that the file system is OK to write to … and if not … fixes it.

You trigger it because of the hardware reboot.
