Enabling Alexa Skill not working - Linking account times out

Yes, Vera is online and the app is accessible. I’ve done a power cycle and tried connecting multiple times. I also disabled the Alexa skill and rediscovered the devices, but it didn’t resolve the issue.

Ezlo plus.

Hello @fra125

Could you please power cycle your Vera Plus (serial ending in 12)? We’ve moved your controller to a different server to help bring it back online.

As soon as you see your Vera connected and working through the Vera app, say to Alexa: “Alexa, rediscover devices.” She will respond that no new devices were found, but this will refresh the connection. Then, you can try controlling your devices through Alexa again.

Now It works fine! Thanks

Alexa still not talking to thermostat.

It worked for 60 days, broken again for me now.

Hello @ember1205,

We’ve checked, and Alexa is working properly with our Ezlo controllers. Are you currently using a Vera controller?

Yes. Vera Secure. It was wonky back in mid-January, you moved me to a different server, all was well for 60 days. Broke again early this week, seems to have at least returned to mostly normal as of now.

Hello @ember1205,

We were able to confirm that some maintenance tasks were being carried out on the servers, and everything is currently working properly. Could you please test it and confirm?

If the issue persists, please try disabling the Vera skill using the Alexa app, then re-enable it and sign in again. It’s also helpful to use the voice command: “Alexa, rediscover devices.”

Overall performance has been VERY laggy for the last week or so for me. Alexa constantly says “not responding” and then the device actually responds about 2-3 seconds -after- that timeout-driven message.

Just want to call out that there is still very significant lag with the Echo devices and voice control. More often than not, the response is that the device isn’t responding (timeout) and about 3-4 seconds later the device will actually respod.

My Vera Secure is rebooted regularly (no less than once per week).

And now it just shows as being “offline” constantly even though it isn’t.

Hello @ember1205

We are experiencing some server side issues, but our team is working to solve them as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience

Wouldn’t / shouldn’t this be in the Status areas? I looked through the various Vera and Ezlo links and such I could find and nothing notated any issues even though this appears to have been going on for a while.
