My dongle is continuously flashing with roughly 1Hz when plugged into Vera.
Is this a correct behavior?
I was wondering the same thing. I haven’t had any issues yet but I thought it was weird that it was still blinking once I put it back into Vera. It made it seem like it was still searching even though I new it wasn’t anymore.

it is not a big issue, but I would not like to have it flashing in my bedroom though.
Sorry, we have no control over the flashing. It’s built into the dongle’s hardware that the light flashes when it has usb power. Maybe just a piece of tape or post-it to cover it so it doesn’t bother you?
For me the flashing is ok, I just wanted to know that it was a correct behavior.

Coincidentally, Leviton RS-232 plug-in module/controller also blinks once configured. Not sure what are the similarities between those two.
Anybody knows if the original ControlThink USB stick blinks as well?
