I’m staying in Malaysia, I would like to use Vera in my country.
Does Vera ship with z-wave frequency with 868.1Mhz?
AFAIK, Vera V1 comes with a Z-Wave USB dongle made by Aeon Labs (see http://www.aeon-labs.com/site/products/view/2/). You could try to contact William Li (wli@aeon-labs.com) to find out whether a Z-Wave USB dongle for Malaysia is available.
My remarks do not apply to Vera V2, which comes with an internal Z-Wave interface.
After a lot of searching & google, it seems that not so many z-wave devices support Malaysia frequcy. :-[
Thanks.
You know that if your contry uses switches and dimmers that are the same as the euro or US standard you could just use those. I realize your state uses a diffrent Freq. but as long as all the freq match who cares. Will the state police come after you!
There is no other choice unless I move to zigbee which is more expensive compare to Z-wave. At the moment, I have to use the Europe standard z-wave.
Thank again.
