I am confused about programming the HA09. I have a mix of HA09 and HA07’s, and they always show up as “red” on the device list. I assume that’s because they are in “sleep/standby” mode normally as they are battery powered. However, I just tried to add a scene+event using the latest release of vera, and it seems to do nothing. i.e. vera says “OK”, but pressing the actual button on the remote will light up the red LED instead of the green one. What am I missing? Do I have to do something on the remote before saving the “add event” change on Vera?
BTW the new release of vera finally works well with my Leviton scene controllers, thanks guys !!
every time you change or add a scene you have to add the controller again like the first time, it should say found existing node transferring scenes, if not do it over
but I just got done adding scenes to my new HA07 and I did NOT have to re-add the controller. (I realize it is a different model of controller, but I would hope Vera would handle this configuration the same) Vera automatically recognized the button number I was pressing with it’s associated scene number without re-adding it as a z-wave controller.
I’m on Vera firmware version 1.0.980.
