i want to install 11 ip cameras to my vera
is it recommend?
I have 5 IP cams and all is fine. It should work without problems.
Someone using network dvr to record video from network cameras and using that cameras in vera3 ?
Is it possible (record and have that installed in vera) ?
Actually i have foscam cameras but only recording pictures in mcv servers.

I have a 11 IP Cameras and they are a mixture of Panasonic, D-Link, Tenvis & Foscam and they can be seen in the attachment.
The Cameras are attached via Wireless IP and wired IP
In regards to the second question, that is something I have wondered myself.

and u have no problems viewing them remotely or locally from vera?
None at all, I can log into each camera via its own web interface if I want to change certain parameters and I can do the PT movements from within Vera.
Which Vera box are you using and what cameras are you thinking of using.
I would recommend static IP for the cameras and if they are using wireless, get them to connect directly to the WiFi Access point on the vera box.

Planning to use vera3 and FOSCAM cameras
but if i connect them directly to vera wouldnt be too much weight on vera?
To be honest it shouldn’t be, I have 3 wired cameras the rest are all WiFi, so cant really see it being an issue especially as the Vera 3 box had more memory and processing power than the Vera 2 box I am currently using.
Anyone else got 11 cameras that are wifi or hardwired directly into Vera want to jump in and comment?
What else do you plan to hang of Vera, I have multiple sensors, switches and scenes and not had an issues and I am currently running a public beta on UI5.

you mean instead of vera?
vera do not support record videos, only pictures.
I think this ideia to record short videos to a server in cloud interesting.
when movement is detected record a short video with 1 minute or 2.
I don’t know if vera has this capacity.
