Is there a way to see if my sensors are armed or bypassed ?
Yes, you should see that on the Vera UI in your browser; 3rd party mobile apps should show that too. Where are you viewing it?
I can see it in my browser. I meant in Homewave
I assume mikee123 is talking about inside HomeWave since we’re in that sub. If that’s the case, you can add a Multi Value Display and then inside that display you can select “Armed” to display whether that sensor is armed or bypassed. A value of 0 would be bypassed and 1 would be armed. I have not seen a way to actually arm and bypass a sensor within HomeWave though, which would be nice.
In HomeWave, go into edit mode, select the sensor, and click on the edit button (spanner) again. In the control’s properties, turn on the option “Allow Arm/Bypass”. This will show you if the sensor is armed or bypassed.
You can also toggle the armed/bypass state from the app, by tapping the control. For this, you have to set the control to “enabled” in the properties.

Very awesome! I’ve only had HomeWave for about a week but every day as I discover more about it it gets better and better.
Sorry, was just browsing the boards and didn’t even realize I was in the HomeWave sub. I do have HomeWave and I was able to show my sensor’s arm/bypass status as intveltr has described.
all working fine now after implementing @intveltr instructions. Great piece of software. Cant wait for the next set of features.
maybe multi switch and/or iphonelocator ? ![]()
Hi folks,
I have the armed/bypass displaying perfectly in Homewave. However, when I bypass a zone it doesn’t seem to be bypassed in my alarm panel (Caddix nv-6v2). The change in status is reflected in the Vera UI, but just isn’t updating the panel. Strangely, if I bypass from the Vera UI, the panel registers the change and bypasses the zone. Any idea what’s up?
Thanks everyone, in advance.
Can you add this to pick up the PLEG plugin as well. I use it to enable and disable my Auto Re-Lock and had some other ideas but need to be able to enable and disable it easier.
