Will the Vera Secure function even if the alarm’s speakers and the microphone are physically disconnected? Where we install Vera Secure we cannot have a siren go off (consider what would happen if a siren sounded in the middle of services at a church). I have disconnected the wire connectors for the two speakers and for the microphone. Now the alarm won’t sound and the Vera won’t be able to pick up sound, as desired. The Vera Secure appears to work fine with these disconnected: it responds to Luup requests and the UI seems unaffected, but I just wanted to check if there is some internal checking going on in the Vera that might disable some functionality.
