disable alarm system with kwikset entry

I have a vera system connected to a z-wave enabled deadbolt that has a keycode on it. I’m very happy with it so far–I get notified who entered and the door auto-locks after 30 sec.

I want to add a home security system with monitoring that can communicate to the vera system. Here is what I want:

  1. if someone enters a code on the side door and successfully unlocks the door the alarm should be disabled. Is this possible to setup?
  2. I want alerts of who entered (already working) and if the alarm keypad is used I’d like alerts
  3. If the alarm is off I’d like to be able to check if there are doors/windows open
  4. I want just simple monitoring
  5. I’d like to add 1 or 2 cameras that I can access anywhere

Thanks for your help and advice. I’ve seen some of the posts (e.g. http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,12302.msg89975.html#msg89975) but don’t know the answer to #1 above.

For #1 the plugins for supported panels allow you to send a disarm command, so it should be very easy to do.
If you want vera to handle this action, you can set up a scene and put the trigger as “pin code entered” then find the alarm panel device and choose disarm as the action. Simple as that :slight_smile:
Just check the alarm panels that are supported in the plugins forum.
If you go with ELK, the plugin is not complete yet, but you can get a Zwave controller addon which does communicate directly with the lock also.
