Device to send signal when 110VAC is on a line? Does it Exist?

Does anyone know of a device that will send a Z-Wave signal to the Vera controller when 110 is applied to a wire?
I hope that explains the device I am looking for.
I want to set up a virtual switch in my Vera and have it change states when 110 is applied to a wire where I will install this device.
Anyone run across a device like this?
Please let me know.

If you need more clarification on what I need for this device just ask.
Thanks.

One solution would be a 110v relay with its contacts connected to a Z-Wave door sensor with an external contact input.

Thanks racarter. I actually thought of that but was hoping for a already built product.
Maybe I will get some relays and boxes and make some and see how they work.

There isn’t any such device that I know of. I have a mains ower failure sensor set up using a 120v relay. The N/C contacts on the the relay are wired to a EcoLink Door/Window Sensor; when the mains power fails, the sensor tells Vera and that triggers a PLEG to alert my phone. I don’t have it configured to do anything other than alert but because the Veras are on UPS they could do other things provided of course the target devices are also on backup power.
