Hi, is there a way to change the notification SMS messages received when a sensor is tripped. Ie: when I open a door, I receive a message wen its opened and one when it’s closed. Both messages don’t indicate if the door was open or closed. I also use eyez-on and they do send descriptive messages however I’m new to Vera and trying to move all my stuff over to Vera so it’s all under one area to manage.

If you are using Vera’s notifications than no. You can use other alternatives like Vera alerts or other push notification alternatives.

I have this working. When you edit the zone (i.e: door zone) you can edit the notifications option to place text in this area (i.e.: door open or door closed). Works great.
