Delay within an action sequence

I have a requirement to have a small delay (couple of seconds) within a sequence of actions triggered when a condition has been met. Does anyone know how to achieve this? The delay is required to enable a device to respond to the command it has been given. In this case I want to switch on a TV, then enter the TV settings mode to change a value. The problem is that PLEG is issuing the ‘enter settings’ command before the TV is ready i.e. it hasn’t fully powered on.

I’m looking for something like;
Turn on TV
Wait 3 seconds
Enter Settings Mode
…

Don, thanks, so simple and yet so powerful. I’ve been able to add 4 timed stages each carrying out a set of actions which allows the devices to get to a state where they work, brilliant. And so simple once you get your head round the concept.
