I finally installed an outlet this morning. A window A/C unit is plugged in, and the A/C has power recovery, so that it reverts to on if it was on when power was lost. I have it scheduled to come on at 7:30pm for 10 hours. Hopefully the thermostat will remember the setting after being unplugged half a day.
As I indicated I installed 12 this past weekend. All are working fine and do autorecover to last state after power outage (or turning of a breaker in my case). Not sure if the green light can be programmed off, as that would be preferable in my case.
Not sure if the Intermatic statement is correct. They just started marketing a new pool controller late last year and I spoke with their technicians prior to and during the installation.
