Datanine Plugin and Vera.

Installed the Datamine Plugin and works fine with a USB stick connected direct to my Vera lite with Setmountpoint /dev/sda1
but…I have now connected my Visonic security panel to the only USB port on Vera, is there a way to tell Datamine to use a network USB drive ? I have a BT home hub that has a spare USB port on the back, if I put the stick in there it shows up on my home network and I can access it via my PC , so it is available to share and has all the current datamine data on it, is there a way to get Datamine to access this stick in it’s new location, or will it only work with a stick plugged directly into vera ? after a couple of hours searching on the nett my head hurts and still no idea what settings to change or try.

If you know how to access the Vera via SSH, this is how I did it:

Why not use a powered USB hub?

I also used a 4 port powered USB HUB. I now have alarm panel, usb stick (for datamine) and Arduino NANO gateway plugged in with one open port.

Thanks for the reply’s, will have a go following the link first as it would be nice to use the spare USB port on my BT home hub if it’s possible. Didn’t want to add another USB Hub if I can help it, things are beginning to look like spaghetti already here  but if that ends up the only way I can get it to work I will have too, haven’t thought about how far away Vera will be from the Alarm Control panel yet, as the panel is still under test and not installed in it’s final position, so using a hub might be a necessity to get around getting from Vera to the Control panel…

If I set SetMountPoint to //192.168.1.254/Datamine and SetManualMount to 1, the attached is what Datamine came up with for the other variables. and is now logging again, no idea if it is saving the Data to the USB plugged in to the BT Home Hub yet, will look tomorrow when it has collected some Data to see where it put it, if it is saving data like it is showing it is.
