CT100 has only one temperature setting

2gig CT100 Z-Wave Programmable Thermostat

Hey y’all. I think there is something wrong with either my CT100 or Vera. I added the 2gig CT100 and have been using it for about 2 months. I just realized, there is a setting missing in the Vera interface. I only see one temperature setting where there should be two. I see only the red temp setting and the blue one is missing. I would assume there should be two for the Auto mode setting. This way the thermostat will change between heat and cool based on the temperature. Since there is only one temperature setting, it renders Auto useless. I have attached a screenshot. Anyone else have this issue. Any known fix?

I believe you are only seeing one because you do not have AUTO turned on. The second temperature setting is for AUTO mode only. I believe I had the two temperatures bars when in AUTO mode.

I would not expect any Fixes for awhile. Attached is a copy of what the UI7 interface looks like for the CT100. It looks like they are allowing all controls to be pushed from the Vera controller and not allow any device maintained controls. :cry: So plan on setting up a lot of your own scenes and temperature triggers.

Mine shows both no matter what setting it is on. Maybe removing it and re-adding it will fix it.

I think you are right Poohbah, the two temperature settings should always be available. I have removed and re-added the thermostat but no change.

Poohbah, if you don’t mind, let’s compare settings/firmware, etc between my system and yours.

If your firmware is 1.6.641, did you connect your CT100 at the current firmware version or a previous version.

I’m running veralite firmware 1.5.622. I have not updated since installing the CT100. Are you running UI6? If yes, that’s probably the problem.

Thanks for the reply. Yep, that is probably it. Unfortunate, since I know they are working heavily on UI7 RC. I will probably just wait and see if the issue is resolved with UI7.

My zts-110 only shows one temp setting in UI7 like it did in UI6. I wonder if this was a design decision on Vera’s part.

Thanks for the update on UI7. I guess I need to do this another way. I want automation in its true form. No human interaction. I am sure the “Auto” setting on the thermostat can be accomplished with PLEG. Never used PLEG so here goes.
