Crashes on old iPad

Hi, I’ve got an original ipad running homewave. This is the first one that got released and is at ios 5.1.1. Homewave seems to work fine on it with an exception being my alarm using the Ademco USB plugin. When I tap the alarm, rather than it bringing up the different modes, stay/away/night/etc., it just crashes.

I don’t expect the developer to have this compatible with 5.1.1 but I’m just wondering if there’s anything I can do to stop it from crashing? It works well on my ipad mini and 6+ so I’m pretty sure it’s just an ios thing.

The app should be compatible with 5.1.1, it’s actually a design goal. I’ll look into this crash.

Thanks. I tried removing it and re-adding but still did the same thing. I’m likely going to re-purpose my ipad mini for the home automation stuff and get myself an ipad mini 2. Found the mini is a bit slow these days.
