cp.mios vs. local logon [help needed please]

Noob alert! Don’t run. :smiley:

So I recently setup Vera with a couple different Zwave device. I can connect to my system through the Vera website, which redirects it locally to my internal IP. When I login to cp.mios.com I’m met with a message that reads “I didn’t detect a unit on your home network”. I’m trying to use AuthomationHD and think this is part of the problem with the app not working remotely.

Any ideas as to what I need to do to get cp.mios.com to see my device?

For what it’s worth, it looks like my Vera Lite upgraded to UI7 today.

For UI5 use cp.mios.com
For UI6, UI7, use home.getvera.com

These are not interchangeable due to the different authentication setups between UI5 and UI6/Ui7

Login via getvera.com will work with both old and new authentication. It uses the password characteristics to determine what to do.

Ah, ok. That explains it. I guess I’m ok. I thought cp.mios.com worked on all the different UIs. Thank you both for the clarity. :slight_smile:
