coutrain rope motors

does anyone know a place to start searching for motors to fit on existing Courtains ?

they have on the side a rope (going up and down) and a wight on the bottom to stretch them …
someone havess anything fitable for such installation ?

220 volts prefered … but low voltage would be just as fine.

Smart home has a add on curtain control available. although looks to be for insteon I have not used it but it’s been one I’ve been looking into.

Will this work with venetian blinds?

Do your Venetian blinds have cord control or wand control for tilt?

Typically tiliting Venetian (slat) blinds is done with a motor in the rail, either a Somfy product or similar, or DIY solutions using Servo motors like this thread;

in my case its not the tilting … i just need ome sort of motor to do the “hand-work” for me …
turned out its not really that easy but the servo-motor idea is actually something doable … i think i may focus on that alittle bit more.

This is not an insteon device… although they make it seem so…

From the Manual, there is NO remote control… you basically have to provide that. They suggest insteon as one solution.

Look at the attachment… So, Z-wave, wemo… etc could work, just have to add the logic from Vera to control the Z-wave or ? device you choose that this will be plugged into.
