I have GE switches all over my house for almost 3 years now without issue but after hearing all the praise for the Cooper Aspire switches on this forum I decided to try one out when they were recently on sale. So I replaced a GE dimmer with the Aspire RF9534 in a single switch installation but when I turn on the light to 100% it is noticeably dimmer than it used to be. All 3 bulbs are lighting so it’s not a case where one of the bulbs burned out but since it does turn the lights on and off it appears to be installed correctly. Has anyone seen this behavior with the Cooper dimmers?
Anyone with more experience with these have any suggestions, besides return it as defective? Are there any settings in the switch that can limit the maximum brightness?
