Cooper Dimmers With LEDs

I have a bunch of Philips G25 4.5W bulbs that work in 3 different rooms. However, I bought 4 http://www.homedepot.com/p/Philips-40W-Equivalent-Soft-White-2700K-B13-Dimmable-Blunt-Tip-Candle-LED-Light-Bulb-435057/205213870?N=5yc1vZbm79Z15b

When I dim them below 30%, they flicker like a giant strobe light, and then when they are near 0, they shoot up to 100%. Wondering if this is a bulb issue or if it’s a dimmer issue.

Considering that the G25 (normal base) ones work in other area, I tend to think to that this is not a dimmer issue, but I could be wrong.

I had the same issue with some dimmable CFL’s. I replaced them with GE LED’s and it fixed that problem but when it was off one of the 3 bulbs would flicker a bit as if the switch wasn’t completely cutting the power to the bulbs. I just replaced the switch with the new Linear WD500Z now everything works as it should.

So, my guess would be your bulbs are the issue. Some don’t like to go down that low and some won’t go that low.
