Hi,

This sounds like an incredibly unsafe idea! The following quote is from the front of a GE/Jasco switch manual and, in my opinion, it is applicable for all Z-Wave devices, without exception.

[b]NOT FOR USE WITH MEDICAL OR LIFE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT[/B] Z-Wave enabled devices should never be used to supply power to or control the On/Off status of medical and/or life support equipment!
