Control RF devices with Vera?

I have a fireplace that uses an RF remote and a fan that also works with an RF remote. Is there a way to program my Vera lite to control these devices?

Do they conform to any advertised standards ?

If it doesn’t work with the RFXtrx already (pressuming its 433 MHz), then its possible support could be added.

A second option is to hack one of its remotes with some vera controlled relays soldered to its buttons.

So is there anything else that can do this for any cheaper or at least easier to find in the USA?

Has anybody seen one of these?
It says it can control IR and RF. Can this be integrated with vera?

I have one Broadlink RM-PRO and yes it works.
It can learn and control everything.

The only problem is the lack of interaction with Tasker or any other automation app.

I got the SDK from Broadlink, but don’t know what doing with it.

Someone told me that it is really possible to make a plugin to interact with Vera , since there is already a communication through phones application.
