Conrad and RSL protocol

I have know bought a Vera and a RFXtrx and it work fine.
I have some Conrad switches which use the RSL protocol (it is implemented to the RFXtrx) but how can I enable it from the Vera plugin - it is not there or is it called something else?

This new protocol is not yet managed by the Vera plugin. It would require additional code. Not too much difficult as the plugin design is modular, but of course it would require time to code and test it.

Two possibilies for you:

  • either you can provide the updated code as a contrib and I will of course check it and include it in the official code
  • or you should wait for a general update of the plugin by myself to put it at the current level of the RFXtrx firmware, but I cannot tell you when it could happen because it is not my higher priority in all the Vera stuff I am involved.

I realise this is an old thread, but since I cannot find this answer elsewhere on the forum:-

I have a Vera plus and was trying to add some sockets labelled Conrad RSL366R-UK, sold by Maplin in the UK as N97KA. Eventually got them by adding them as Risingsun in RFXTRX433. Then use the switches on the back for A-D, 1-4 and corresponding in the RFXTRX433 create new device. You have to enable the RSL protocol in its settings.

(note A-D are actually shown as I to IV)
