The DataMine plugin is the best and most used plugin for my Vera 3 for analyzing my home and troubleshooting . There is a lot of progress in the evolution of this app. I surely want to give a big ‘thumbs up’ for your hard work!
Some humble suggestions from my side:
Is it possible to add a function to the Chart section to sum variables from different channels into one chart, similar to the dashboard function?
Is there anyone out there using this app, who made a sort of template which can import the data from the datamine plugin to Excel/Calc?
Do you mean this for graphing the watts in the same combination as the dashboard, or do you mean for combining other types of variables? I will likely add the ability to graph the combined energy totals.
Data export is something that I’ve had on my todo list for a while. I’ll see if I can add it in the reasonably near future.

I like to have the possibility to select variables, like, for example the power consumption, to be shown cumulative. Something like the U5’s ‘Energy’ → ‘Usage’ but then shown as a graph. Also it would be nice to have the summed variables been subtracted from the overall total, like a total powerconsumption, with a rest variable been shown, like what you did in the Dashboard with the variable ‘Unaccounted’.
I hope you know what I mean. English is not my native language, you see… ;D
I think I understand. I do have plans for something along the lines of what you’re after, and I hope to get this into the system in the near future (assuming there’s not too many problems with the latest upgrade that changes the file structure) Once I release this, let me know what you think and if you have any further suggestions…
No problem - your English is fine - certainly better than any second language I can attempt to speak
One of the things I have which is related is that I have some old switches which don’t have energy meters and a thermostat controller , which can’t have an energy meter since it does not have the load current running through it.
However both of these have a value called “User supplied wattage” If you could log the switch state SwitchPower>Status multiplied by the “UserSuppliedWattage” that would fix this
I’d guess a generalised calculation type logging would be able to handle this, I mention this as the UserSuppliedWattage is built in to Vera so you would be using that feature of Vera.
Finally , this is an awesomely good app, In my use of the ERGY application I found ERGY does not handle a WholeHouse meter , it just added that to all the other meters, Furthermore and much worse it does not handle a Linked Vera, My ERGY account only shows the main Vera’s wattages none of the linked vera’s wattages are present.

This was an activity someone else had asked for as well.
