Cheap Wifi + RF + IR Controller (Broadlink-RM2-Pro)

Just found this product… It?s supposed to control all IR and RF devices for a fraction of the price of other sollutions.

Infrared Frequency - 38K
Wireless Type - Wi-Fi 24GHZ b / g /n
RF - 433 / 315MHZ

The thing is, it is controlled by an IOS / Android App.

Anybody think it?s possible to integrate this with the Vera (or at least eventghost?)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Broadlink-RM-Pro-Advanced-RM-2-IR-RF-Wifi-3G-IOS-Android-by-official-Hong-Kong-/261610057266?pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL&hash=item3ce92cae32

I’m interested in this too and if there are some developers I’m willing to buy one to beta test it.

Im also interested in buying one, specially because it can handle IR and RF simultaneously, being very cheap.

Any developer would like to take the challenge? ;D

Wow, this is cool device.
I will buy it
Anybody can develop it that we can send http command to this?
Thank

I would also be interested in this.

I would try to build an Android plugin but I need the SDK/API to do this?
Does anybody know where I can find it???

Hey guys,
Please download the SDK from the link below. Just remove the .jpg at the end.

Let me know if there?s a problem.

THanks a lot!

For those who want to buy this product, you can buy it for the low price of 37$ with free shipping at this link :

I bought all my electric curtain from him on AliExpress and he is a good seller.

I think most people are waiting to see if somebody will be able to make a plugin for it to work with the Vera.
While the product is great, the best I could do was to create some scenes and automate it with tasker (Autoinput plugin). Far from ideal.

Peter,
Can you recomend the model of the eletric curtains that you bought from them?

Thanks.

Hi,

I ordered my four electric curtain from the same seller (The Friend Group) in the previous link.

You just need to send your exact order (track width, center or side opening, celling or wall bracket) by message to the seller. He will make a package deal for you and combine shipping also.

The price is around 100$ (us) for a 5meters track, motor, bracket, etc.

For the motor, ask for a Dooya DT52S. The S at the end is important, this is a 4 wires motor so you can wire it to a Fibaro Roller Shutter 2 for example and be able to control it from Vera.

For my 4 condo windows without the curtains itself,(I have very large windows, floor to celling windows 10 to 14 feets width) the cost was :

Electric curtains :
110$(each) * 4 + shipping (158$)

Fibaro Roller Shutter 2 :
55$ (each) * 4 + shipping (30$)

Thanks a lot Peter!
Very nice! I?m looking into buying the same stuff.
Thanks again.

Is it possible to add discrete code to the library? Those IR commands are not transmitted with the TV-remote.

This is useful when to select specific input, instead of toggling “x” times in the menu and derail every time the current selection is unexpected.

I’ve looked in the app, but it doesn’t do much without the IR-blaster it self.

Hello guys,

Did anybody get the right http command syntax?

Tx.

Hello everyone

Broadlink-RM2 user here too, I was playing with the iOS SDK that comes along and got stuck at the stage where RM2 sends out the code.

I was able to set the RM2 to learning environment
than I gave it a IR remote learning
after which when I send out it is in the following format:

26004e01a4470c3c0b190b180a190a3c0b180c190a180c170b3c0d170a3c0b3c0b190a3d0a3b0b3c0b3d0a3b0c190a180c3a0c180b180c190a190a190a190b3c0b3c0b3b0b3b0c3b0b190b3b0b3c0b180d160b190b180b1a0a180b180b180c180d160b180c180b3c0c3a0c3b0b3c0b180b190b170c180d0003c5a6460b3c0b180b180b180c3b0d160c190a180d170b3b0c170c3b0b3c0b180b3c0b3b0c3c0a3c0b3b0c190b170b3c0b180c170d170b180b190b180b180d170c170c170c3b0c3c0a190a180b3d0b170c3b0b3b0d3a0b1a0a180b180d3b0a3c0b180c180b170c180d160c180b180c170d160c180d160c170c180b180c180b180b180c180c180a180d180a190c160c180c170b180c180b180b190b180b180b3c0c170b190b3b0c3b0b190a180c180b180b1a0a190a180b190c170b3b0c180b190c160c190b3a0c180c170b190b180d170b2f08040b190b000d0500000000000000000000

But when I used a IR receiver sensor to read the signal, it gave me this
