Changing to the window.png file

Utilizing this sketch for a couple of blinds in the house. I thought it would just be easy to change the D_BinaryLight1.xml to D_BinaryLight2.xml and create a D_binaryLight2.json and change the “flashicon”: “icons/Window_Covering.png”. Then go into those devices under the advance and change device_File to the new D_Binarylight2.xml.

That changed the icon for me for that device but also changed all the other devices that utilize D_Binaary1.json D_Binary1.xml.

What am I missing in getting my new devices to utilize the Window_covering.png?

The only way you can change the icon or other aspects of the json file for just one device is by making it a new device type. That may give you a problem with some remote Apps that use the device type to define how to handle it.
