Well for those of use left wanting after buying a top of the line Carrier Infinity HVAC system with WiFi Touch control due to lack of any good means to provide HA control, times are a changing. Carrier in 2016 finally, finally, published a cloud api for its MyInfintiy and now has an Alexa Skill available. They also have a means for developers to create interfaces.
