But when I get to the scene creation, I do not get the Sonos play, track etc actions. Instead, I seem to get actions for HaDevice1 such as Reconfigure, Stress Test, Poll etc. also at the top of the actions drop down box, it shows: urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:HaDevice1
I have tried removing and recreating the device without any progress and I am now out of ideas.
I have read though the forums and cannot find anything to help me so far.
If anyone has any ideas they would be appreciated.
This is perhaps suited in the Sonos Plug in section under Programming/Plugins, but I will try to help.
Once added, do you get a device e.g “Living Room Sonos” listed under devices?
If so - when you create a new Scene and go to Advanced, can you select the above?
If so - click the Add button to put the device in the box below.
The options are only available when you have added the device, and then you should get a list of Sonos specific options
remember to add the IP of your Sonos to the device
The Sonos Plugin is available on this forum (under programming/plugins) and it should work fine with the Vera 3 (assuming that is what you mean). Regarding IPs, you do not need to know your Sonos Bridge details, but in the Sonos apps under settings yiu can find it, or just using a upnp search tool should allow you to find your Sonos Zones IPs.
Hi everyone !
First of all thank you very much for this tremendous work you have done here ! I can’t wait having my SONOS controlled by my Veralite
but I have the exact same problem than GizmoB73 :
after uploading the files to my Vera lite, creating the device and setting the IP in settings, I could find the SONOS device in the advanced tab when creating a scene.
I could add this device to my scene but the only functions that are proposed to me are not the expected ones (setfilePlay,…) but some kind of generic actions attached to a “Hadevice1”.
I also tried setting the IP directly in the device creation page but then, I have no actions listed at all when I want to create a scene (although I can still find and add the device to my scene).
I went through the 33 pages of the dedicated topic but couldn’t find any help here.
When downloading the Sonos files from the Trunk, did you download the consolidated zip file?
The link for that is at the bottom of that page, try this if not, as there can be issues downloading each file individually. (That route has worked for me)
That should help, but If not, then the Sonos plugin has gone through a huge amount of change recently - so it would be best to post any more issues you have in the Advanced/Plugins & Plugin Development/Sonos Plugin section.
