New to Vera, but I’ve been doing my reading and it’s taken me awhile to finally give up and post.
I’ve got a new Veralite, running UI5 (Firmware 1.5.286). I installed the UpnP Event Proxy, and then the Sonos Controller Plugin v 1.3 from the App Store. A Sonos device is created properly when I install the controller app, but when I go to configure the device (after waiting for everything to reload, and even after reboots), clicking on Settings and Discover results in nothing being found, even though my Sonos is definitely on the same subnet (192.168.0.x) as the Veralite. I installed the Discovery patch and had the same result. Finally, I tried to manually enter the Sonos’ IP address (192.168.0.16, confirmed by looking at the Sonos Mac App as well as the router’s DHCP table). When I hit Select after manual entry, it shows up under IP address below, but Selected Zone shows nothing next to it (perhaps that’s normal?) and Checking for State and the controls do nothing. Nothing seems to work.
So, I applied MacFly92’s fix, where I SSH’d into the Veralite and entered iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -d 224.0.0.0/4 -j SNAT --to-source 192.168.0.22 (the address of my Veralite). And tried discovery again (with and without the patch), still nothing and still no control after manually entering my IP. I’ve rebooted the Veralite several more times, and at this point, I have no clue what else to try. Can anyone offer any help? I’m willing to post any logs you need, as long as you tell me how to enable/retrieve them!
Thanks,
Cory
