Can't figure out Error Message - Failed at Getting Version

I just bought Vera3 which has UI5 installed. I was able to connect my Schlage doorlock and access it. But I am getting this weird error message and I can’t fine what it is or what the implication is.

The message says “Failed at: Getting the Version”

Can someone help? I have attached a picture of the error message.

Typically, this indicates a communication issue. There’s a bunch of things Vera attempts to do when configuring the device. ‘Getting the version’ appears to be one of the first things, so that is often the step that fails when Vera and device are not properly communicating.

Are you saying the lock is working fine?

If it’s working fine you can try and manually poll it, run setup if not remove and redo the inclusion with the vera closer.

Probley a rang issue. How many more wall powered devices you have and what’s the distance from this lock.

Thanks everyone. I removed and readded the lock - and kept the controller by it for a longer period of time. It seems to have fixed the problem as it is working now.
