I’m trying to access my dashboard locally and am able to login mios, but when I click to go to dashboard, it gives me an error message that says:
Data not loading? Setup your network, or upgrade your fireware, or activate remote assistance, or request tech support.
Anyone had this happen before? All my lights controled by vera came on all of a suddent and when I tried to log into the dashboard I got the above mention issue.
Thanks JOD. The Ethernet 1 light is blinking. I tried it on another Ethernet jack I know that works and same thing. I’ve also asked MiCasa for help and waiting for their reply.
ETH 1 blinking is an indication there’s no Internet access for whatever reason.
Did you change the way in which Vera connects?
Are you using a router, to where you can bypass it and connecting Vera directly to your modem?
In any event, you should still be able to connect to Vera on the 192.168.81.1 network.
Is the IP address presented when you log in external via cpui5.mios.com the same as what you are typing in your browser?
What model of Vera do you have and do you have the latest firmware?
If you have the latest firmware try this as a simple test (if you do not have the latest firmware doing this would upgrade i :
MiOS and log in Select the correct model
Click Continue
If present with more than one unit, click on the applicable Vera
If it has the most recent firmware, you see the following message:
Unit already connected.
Your system is already up to date. connect to it directly on my network
Click on connect to it directly on my network This will launch the dashboard locally and do you encounter the same issue?
Verify the Local IP address
Thanks JOD and Brientim. I’m using UI4 and the URL I use is cp.mios.com. It started working again after midnight last night because that is when I got a text message from Vera on a notification I had setup. Not sure what happen but it’s now working.
