Can I turn off my Vera 3 z-wave chip?

Hello I’m a Vera 3 user, couple of weeks a go I my self a Fibaro HC2 and now I’m setting up my Vera 3 to become a Slave so I can setup my Vera so I can is plugins, so my question is can I in some way turn off my z-wave chip on my Vera 3? Because my Vera 3 slave is not going to us z-wave

Open it up and remove the daughter board.

But why bother ? Are you afraid of interference ? Each Vera would have a different network ID and would not interfere with each other.
