Camera record time settings

I am just curious if anyone knows how to get my camera to record starting 10 seconds before the trigger. My camera used to do this at one time, but not it doesn’t do it after i had to uninstall and reinstall it. Currently it just starts recording when the trigger is activated.

I think you would almost have it set to record constantly but overwriting at 10-20sec intervals and then when you have a motion trigger it continues the recording either while the motion trigger is active or set period of time. After it’s done recording it would need to go back to the constant recorded and overwriting but on a new file.
