Is the video archiving feature enabled yet on findvera.com?
I can view on my dashboard my camera’s picture which seems to update about every 20 seconds. Are there any plans to support a “live” stream in either MPEG4 or MJPEG?
The ‘stream’ is rather complicated to do because the findvera server is acting as a secure relay, taking in requests remotely, re-encrypting them, and forwarding/retrieving them to Vera through a secure tunnel, and reporting back the reply. So, it works fine for transaction based things, like retrieving a picture. But it doesn’t really work for live streaming. It’s on the back burner to find a solution to allow this.
This is very appealing from security perspective - why don’t you mention it in your marketing campaign?
