Buy Vera 2 or wait for Vera 3

Hi,

I want to implement a Z-wave automation with the use of a Vera appliance.
Now I live in the lowlands (Belgium & Netherlands) and the Vera 3 will be available begin next year.

So my question is: should I wait for the Vera 3? And will the new GUI 5 also be implemented on the Vera 2 or is this only for the Vera 3?

I think we need to know a little more about what you plan to do with Vera.

[ol][li]Will you use it only as a Z-Wave bridge or will you use it for WiFi and/or as a router?[/li]
[li]How many devices do you plan to control?[/li][/ol]

UI5 will be available for both Vera 2 and Vera 3.

I think i’d probably wait. Having an internal battery is a lot less faff.

You can buy your z-wave kit and install it. Maybe use a USB controller for the time being, they’re always handy for diagnosis anyway.
