Bulk Order Sensors?

For the security/energy setup I have in mind I need one sensor for each door (one front, two sliding glass) and one for each of four windows. That’s seven sensors in each of condo and there are six condos in the building.

So where do I get an astounding deal on window/door sensors if I buy 42 of them?

You can also try Barry at ASIhome, I think I remember a similar post where he said he would do a deal.

Have you considered doing this by interfacing an Alarm system also? I expect it to be cheaper in the long run, and also more battery efficient.

I did think about it, but the building has concrete walls, floors, and ceilings. Line runs would be problematic.

I second www.smarthome-products.com - they actually reply on emails, and when I needed “custom” order they were willing to do what some others didn’t.
