I just bought second vera lite and bridged it. I see on my dashboard. How do I take the 3 or four zwave devices that were on my main veralite which is in my unattached garage and put them under the control of the new vera in my house? I bought a door sensor, added it while in the garage but placed it on front door and cant get node info. I bought a repeater and placed it in kitchen with no luck. All other zwave devices work in house except door sensor ( schlage) So now I want to use in house vera to control in house devices and leave garage devices to garage vera controller
You need to unpair the sensor from the garage vera and pair it with the one in the house.

Garretti appreciate that… So all devices that are installed on main very in garage have to be deleted from system and readded to new vera?
Its weird that the new versa life showed up on the dashboard as mios with a blue dot… Well I read that the new vera would import all the devices from master unit. I guess not. So he new vera does not echo the zwave commands from other zwave devices?..I can’t understand why the door sensor in house did not get zwave commands from the other for devices in the house. Well thanks again
When bridging to Vera’s together, you will be able to access the other Vera’s devices depending if you have one way bridging or two way bridging. Z-wave devices will only work on the Vera that it is paired to. It will not repeat the z-wave signal to the other Vera. You will need to pair the z-wave devices to the vera that is closest to the device. Communication between the bridge Veras only happen over the network and just passes the status data to the other vera as well as commands issued to the device which is done via the api over the network.

I actually think I understand now Sir. I am a 30 year firegighter in baltimore city. That tells you how smart I am, heh heh. So If I understand this right. I need to delete the new vera, then go around and add all the devices that are closest to it which for me are all the devices in the house. Then after that do I take it out to garage and add it to original vera or just follow the steps of importing a unpn device through dashboard and all is well. One other thing it appears that my original vera has ui6 and this new one is ui5, this coming from tech support. Does that change things or how should I handle that if at al? How do I log into new vera to pin devices and rename them etc…?
You might want to search the forums for “Bridged Vera” for lots of information on this. Also look at this thread for some of the things that have been tried and found to be problems http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,25161.0.html
