Battery operated remote IR device?

Hello All,

is there any device that i can use with Vera to send IR signals but it works on battery rather than electricity? the reason is that sometimes you have places which have no sockets and you still need to put a blaster there to control some devices.

maybe a device which works on electricity which has an extender which works on batteries?

The Itach flex is powered by micro USB so could be powered by a battery power bank, no telling how long the batter pack would last though.

There is plug in for the flex, not 100% sure it is working developer is no longer arround.
