Good news everyone!
The first free update to Automator.app has been released. It should begin appearing now in iTunes, though it may take up to 24 hours to show up everywhere.
This release is mostly an enhancement update with a few notable bug fixes. Thanks to all who reported any issues with the original release.
Enhancements:
- Many improvements around system discovery and connections. In particular better handling when network changes between running the app (e.g. wifi to cellular)
- Renamed External/Internal addresses/ips in manual system setup to Primary/Secondary to better indicate their function
- Quicksearch – Quickly find devices/scenes in favorites, devices, or scenes by typing their name (or portions thereof)
- Added basic support for TED 5000 with woodsby’s plugin
- Improved image handling while viewing cameras. Double tap to zoom, two finger tap to zoom out
- Added feedback when running a scene
- Added support for power meter devices
- Added energy usage display in tables when available
- Added a sort by energy usage option
- Added “Last Used” sort option for devices and scenes
- Added ability to hide devices and scenes that you don’t want to see on your mobile device
- Added filter category ‘Interfaces’ (includes 3 in 1 sensors)
Bug Fixes:
- The detail disclosure (blue icon) in the system list (home screen) may have appeared when a system is still offline
- Disabling mios.com should remove any systems discovered through it.
- Fixed a crash that can occur if you have a UI2/UI3 based vera associated with your mios.com user
- Battery status icons may disappear from device cells
- Thermostat operating state (Heating/Cooling/Idle) wasn’t displayed
- A number of bug fixes and performance improvements
I am already hard at work on the next update. Enjoy!
