Arming Door Window sensor Hawking HRDS1

I have a magnetic type Hawking HRDS1 on my front gate.I have set a scene in which a lot of lights go on when it is armed in the century stripped. However, I have trouble arming it.

Number one. There’s a red indicator to the left of the arm button . Does that mean that it is armed or bypassed?

I’m having trouble getting it to arm.

Red/green dot is an indicator of it being tripped or not. It has nothing to do with armed/disarmed state, which is showed by highlighting of the appropriate buttons.
