Apple TV Vera 2 Router Problem

Hi all,
I have added Apple TV and after using the Apple TV anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half the Vera drops all connectivity. The power light stays lit but all others go dark. WiFi or a direct cat5 connection is unable to be made to the internet. I must unplug the Vera for 30 seconds or so and then plugin again and have it reboot (which takes an incredibly loooong time). Everything will work fine for another 30-90 minutes and then the same thing will happen. Apple has checked the AppleTV and it is fine. Any ideas or threads you could point me to?
Thanks,
Ron

Are you saying that you only started having this problem after installing the apply tv?
And does the problem go away if you unplug the apple tv?
Are they both plugged into the same router directly?
What is your router model? And does it handle the DHCP assignment?
Try assigning static ip’s to both products through the router. Google how to do this for your specific router.

Just thinking out loud here… Is it possible that the Vera is probing the AppleTV, thinking it’s something of interest like a camera, and maxing out its internal memory with a memory leak? All these things happen, but it’s unknown whether that’s what is affecting the OP.

Gave up and bought an Apple Router and everything works fine. Now I just want to get the Vera hooked into the router. Thanks for you responses.
