Anyone tried this Keypad?

I noticed that the latest Vera firmware now includes support for the Centralite 3-Series Security Keypad 3400-G

It appears that is is Zigbee only so that will limit the compatibility to the Vera Plus users, but if you are looking for a wireless keypad, this may work for you.

Please give us some feedback if anyone is using it.

This Keypad bring the capability of a regular Alarm Panel.

Basically it sets the controller to Home and Away based on a pre-configured pincodes and a delay exit based on the settings configured in House Modes.

It is a Zigbee keypad and works with VeraPlus and VeraSecure. Build quality and materials are very good as well.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have a 3400-X from my old Smartthings system, is that compatable as well?

I think I need help getting my keypad to work…

I bought the Lowes Iris 3405-L1 keypad. It pairs successfully as a Centralite 3400 keypad with my Vera Plus.

When I put in a pin, it shows in the PIN code list in the VERA UI, but the keypad never recognizes the PIN as a valid code.

@amgold

It seems that this is a rebranded version of the Centralite 3400 keypad. If the label is the only difference it should work.

There is a certain procedure for this keypad in terms of usage: First, press the House mode button on the keypad-> Then, punch in the pin.

For the final verdict, I encourage you to check with our Customer Care team and see if they can do something about this.

After further debugging, I found by looking at the image of the Centralite (Ring Alarm Keypad | Centralite Smart System Security Keypad), that the Iris Keypad (https://www.lowes.com/pd/Iris-White-Security-Alarm-Keypad/999925326) is “upside down” from the centralite.

To enter PIN 1111 and Home on the Iris i would need to press Panic-Panic-Panic-Panic-ON.

Either my unit is messed up, or it is slightly more than a rebrand.

Holy Hannah, a physical implementation of ROT13 encryption…

Hello

Anyone know where I can get one of these in the UK, thanks

I added the Centralite keypad to my system and it seems to be working OK so far. My main nitpick is that Vera seems to be treating every code entry as a security alert and sends notification to my mobile phone. I’d like the option to turn those off or limit them to just unsuccessful code attempts. I don’t really need notifications every time the keypad is used. (Just like I wouldn’t need notification of every single time a door/window sensor is triggered in Home mode either.) As a new Vera owner, I’ve been digging through the Dashboard and haven’t found a simple way to customize this. Thoughts from any other Centralite keypad owners? Have I overlooked a setting somewhere?

I have the same issue. Every time the keypad is used i receive alerts. I submitted a support ticket but was told this is normal behavior. It drives me crazy so i just try to make sure i mostly use my phone to arm/disarm.

I have a VeraPlus running 1.7.4125, I also have a Centralite 3400-X 3-Series Security Keypad. Attempting to add this device to my VeraPlus, I don’t see it as a known type of device to add, and it isn’t picked up when I try to add it as a generic Zigbee device (and I’ve reset the keypad by holding down the tamper switch while feeding it a battery, then pressing the tamper switch 5 times).

Is there something I’m missing on setting up this keypad?

Thanks!

Can these keypads be purchased in Europe / UK or would I have to import one from the US.

Also how are you guys getting along with the keypad any problems or issues?

Thanks.
