Anyone else having problems with Eurotronic Spirit on the Ezlo Controller?

Hi,

I have six Eurotronic Spirit thermostats connected to my Ezlo Plus and trying to execute a heating shedule. The only way to do this at the moment is to create a lot of scenes:

For example:

  • Scene 6:30 AM: TRV1 22°C, TRV2 22°C, TRV3 21.5°C, …
  • Scene X:XX : …
  • Scene 11:00 PM: TRV1 18°C, TRV2 18°C, TRV3 18°C, …

Unfortunately, it very often happens that the commands are simply not executed on the thermostats. So I played a bit on setting the temperature manually on the app. The app always says “Command sent.” Sometimes it reacts with the set temperature, sometimes it doesn’t react and sometimes the app says “Can’t Detect Device”. If the chosen temperature on the app is not executed at the thermostat it often helps to set the temperature at the device. Then it can be controlled again with the app.

Of course, no reliable heating control can be implemented with this. I am now trying to find out what it is. Is it on the devices or the controllers end? Is there a problem with FLiRS devices?

Doesn’t anyone use this combination? Should I replace the thermostats or the controller? Is it better to use a proprietary/autonomous heating control system and then connect that to the controller? I have to turn up one or the other thermostat every morning because the heating stays cold and in the evening not all the thermostats turn down. This is pretty annoying…
