Upgraded from UI5 to Ui7, instead of setting page by page up again is there a way to retain all if not most of the device on dashboards etc…? or am I SOL?
I think SOL. I started from scratch when I made the moved from 5, to 6, and then to 7. I had many problems in 6.
Thanks, good to know for future. I tried to like ui7 for 2 days but couldn’t bear with it so back to you now. Only reason why I want to upgrade is for a Vera plus but at this rate I really should consider homeseer and start from scratch
Another option is setup your new Vera and slowly migrate from one Vera to the next over time. That way you do not lose functionality while setting up the new Vera. Eventually, you will have to make the switch to a newer UI, as plug-in developers move on. I never got used to UI5 and I found UI7 more intuitive. UI6 was a hack.
