Hi. I am looking to get a Vera and was wondering if any alarm systems will integrate with Vera, especially The Honeywell Touch alarm.That’s the one the little lady wants on the wall. Wants to be able to view and change alarm settings from the internet and her I phone without subscribing to a service. I also want the z wave functionality of Vera2. I can’t find any units that incorporate both alarm and home automation with a reasonable price. I want to order my Vera but I still have to live here.

Thanks for the link. I read the whole 6 page post and see better now how this works . I can in no way contribute to that post, read different books when coming up.

Honeywell’s site mentions that the “Lynx Touch” wireless panel is capable of setting back Z-wave thermostats when armed. I wonder what type of brain would be necessary to expand the functionality. Mayberry I should start a new thread for that…
