Need help understanding the best way to integrate old safewatch custom pro (ADT) 2000 alarm system with Z wave.
what is the best way=easy way to add z wave to existing system? I don’t want to buy ADT pulse. Also I don’t want to discontinue my existing service with ADT monitoring.
I looked at AD2USB at nutech but that seems like a lot of programming etc.
Is there way to just add a keypad to the system or such?

This is exactly what I want to do. I am in a rental with an existing wired ADT system that is not being monitored. I understand from talking to ADT that the system can be upgraded to their Pulse system by changing the control panel and adding the iHub. If I can get my hands on their controller, is it possible to link it to the Vera Lite I just ordered. This would allow me to use the existing door, window, and motion sensors.
Yes, I could subscribe to ADT Pulse, but I want to use Vera/MiOS, and I do not want to pay their high monthly fees.
Does anyone know if it is possible to link the two together?

that is a vista 20p. you can use the ad2usb module with the ad2usb ademco plugin. have a look at the sub forum in the plugin development section.

Is this also a Vista panel? Its a newer ADT panel and appears similar but the chip id looks different
