I have been attempting to customize the alarm panel widget icon’s and for the life of me I can’t get it to work as I would expect. I want three state’s to have different colored icons, I’m attempting to use the clear, green and red lights. I would like to have a visual when the system is “ready” (all doors closed ready to arm), “not ready” ( open door or window), and “armed”. I have tried ever option possible using the above mentioned colored icons but to no avail. This is a DSC alarm panel with the EVL-3 interface. VeraMate knows the state and shows it on the expanded view of the widget but the icons don’t follow state changes.
Any ideas…?
