Aeon Multisensor showing temperature of 216 degrees

I have been successfully up until last night using the Aeon multisensor as my outdoor temperature sensor.

I just received a new Aeon multisensor since I like the last one so much. I have been trying to add it and it continually is failing on add. I am not sure if that is affecting my existing sensor, but for whatever reason I am getting a very incorrect temperature reading.

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you fix it?

I am unsure as to why your thermal sensor is working the way it is right now as, but try re-including the multisensor and reconfigure the device to see if that will fix the thermal sensing issue.

I saved a link that someone gave me to adding the multisensor successfully. I am unsure how valid it is right now, but i believe it has something to do with full powered inclusion.

The steps can be found near the beginning of this blog: http://868mhz.blogspot.fi/2013/02/aeon-labs-multisensor-4-1-and-vera-beta.html

I am having the same issue right now
see picture.
also it is showing a power consumption of 70w on the motion sensor

anyone ? help me out please

it looks like this started recently after i added a fibaro universal sensor a week or 2 ago.

I’s be interested as to why you get 70w when I only get 55?

With all of that power consumption … no wonder it’s hot

??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Thats not the answer i was looking for ;D

But i wonder why it shows such readings. The 70W wasn’t there until i installed a fibaro universal sensor.

Mine just appeared as well.

I installed another last week and it didn’t show wattage, comparing both properties, the only difference I could find was that there was a wattage in the properties for the sensor that shows wattage, this is where it becomes confusing as the new sensor doesn’t have the property for wattage.

Somehow, the sensor has become corrupted or updated, however, I find that impossible to believe that AEON has a tunnel to our sensors…mmmm…
